When the young Director of R&D started a few planes down in the Basement, no one at BAD Productions suspected that our own version of a Cold War arms race would start.  But soon, I would take up the challenge (read mocking abuse) of some of the guys in CAMS... there was no way an 8 year old would out-build me... but then the President himself took over the comfy chair and brought forth.... "the kit".

Ben started this kit back in 2004 as part of the make 'n take at WellCoME in Guelph... it went back in the box as Gundams & Star Wars & NASCAR took centre stage. Now, with the younger brother setting the pace, Ben took up the challenge (on the day before the Lincoln ME show) and called me at work with a dozen questions on how to make these darn decals dry faster!

Between 3 PM & 10:30 PM on Friday, Ben finished the last layers using SWMBO's hairdryer & ALL my Microsol !

The wonderful folks with Central Maine Modelers in Lincoln, Maine, awarded a 3rd to Ben's efforts on February 3, 2007. Our fearless President assures me that his secret Santa antique fire engine will be complete in time for his brothers birthday & the CAMS show in April....

After years on the road to CAPCON, SEMMEX, BUFFCON, CAMS, WellCoME, ME, NY, MI, Ontario & New Brunswick, this is Ben's 1st submission to ARC .
