Rob Knox has added extra detail to his very big 1/12 Revell Ferrari Testarossa.  The 1/12 scale Testarossa is a awesome kit and Rob took it a step further with added details such as scratch built brake discs and calipers other details.  Rob's finished Testarossa looks just like the real car.

Mark Jahsan has dropped by today with his article entitled These are a few of my favorite things.  Mark has included 4 models from TV shows we all enjoyed in the '60's and I must say I got a kick out of seeing all 4 of these models.

Happy Chinese New Year!!!          Happy Lunar New Year!!!

Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year.  In China, this is the year of the Dragon I want to wish everyone a happy New Year and I hope you all have good health and much wealth during this New Year.  For a dragon image, I picked one with 5 claws.....that is the most lucky Dragon.

Alvis 3.1 is here with some Top Secret pics of his 1/24 PanzerPorschen 928.  This is a model of the actual ARC Moderators car that they prowl the forum in as they deal with spammers and problem threads.  It has a trailer hitch...but that is another story.......check out the license plate.  Too cool!!!

Pablo Angel Herrera has done a lovely job building and finishing his 1/24 Revell AG Audi R10.  This was a diesel powered racecar at the 24 Hours of Le Mans that actually did quite good but Pablo has more information on that is his article.  It's a unique looking racecar and Pablo did an excellent job on it.

Paolo Yuen is here with something you don't see very often.  This is the big 1/24 Revell Rosenbauer GFLF Simba 8x8, which is a Frankfurt Airport Fire engine.   No doubt about it....this is one very big looking rig and Paolo really did a great job on it.

Mark McClellan is here with a kit of a vehicle I've never seen before.  This is his 1/20th Rupp Super Sno-Sport with added engine detailing to bring it to life. Mark added engine wiring and made new exhaust stacks.  This has got to be the craziest snowmobile I've ever seen.  And yes it is a real machine......click here to see it and other wacky example of snow dragsters.  Mark did this 40 year old kit justice and his looks just like the real machine.  Outstanding work Mark.

  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Jerry Hawhee (Old Blind Dog) has been busy back-dating a street rod in to factory stock 1/24 Revell (Monogram) 37 Ford Tudor Sedan.  Jerry used the hot rod kit plus 3 other kits to get the donor parts need to create his factory stock model of the 37 Ford Tudor Sedan.  The work was extensive and Jerry tells all about it in fascinating detail.  This is quite the inspirational model Jerry.

Greg Kerry has done an exceptionally fine job on his 1/9 Lee Suzuki TS125.  Greg added scratchbuilt cables and then finished it off with all the correct weathering to give his dirt bike that well used look.  This is an amazingly realistic looking model and looks like a bike that has seen many hours pounding along off road trails.

Luiz Delazari joins us from Brazil with photos from the recent 10th IPMS Curitiba Contest.  This was a well attended show and if you click on the link in this article you can see hundreds of models that were on display at this show.  No doubt about it....the folks in Brazil know how to put on a successful show.  Wonderful work everyone.

Kris Pete has a passion for the EVO, so it is a special treat to see his 1/24 Hasegawa Mitsubishi EVO IV Acropolis Rally 1997.  Kris built his EVO out of the box with perfect results.  I also share a passion for this car.....so it gave me a big smile to see his EVO model.  Very cool Kris.

Terry Davis is here with something I didn't think was possible.  This is his 1/24 Revell 1966 Mustang GT350H covered in soapy water being washed by a pretty young lady.  Terry explains how he did the soapy water effect on the car......wow......this is brillant.

Greg Kerry is here with two of his 1/12 Tamiya Yamahas.  Greg knows his stuff when it comes to getting the look right on motorbike models and you'll see that when you look at the pictures of his models.  He has also included some helpful tips in his article regarding painting the exhausts and how he did the cables on his Yamahas.  I loved seeing both of these bikes.

Antonio Serrano Beardo starts today with his tired and rusty 1/24 Monogram 1940 Ford pickup "To do".   Antonio added plenty of junk cargo to the rear cargo area on his pick-up and then finished it ff with a rusty paint job and for sale signs.  It's so realistic looking that I'm tempted to track down this vehicle and buy it from the farmer that no doubt has it stored next to his barn.  Beautiful work Antonio.

Guido "Ecurie Maquette" Haesevoets has done an exceptional job on his 1/24 Tamiya Eggenberger Ford Sierra RS500 Gr.A.  Guido added seatbelts and hood pins for a bit of extra detailing before finishing it off with a very complicated set of markings and a shiny black paint job.  Beautiful work Guido.
